Preface
I wish to share with you a way that you can achieve even greater results than people had from Revolving Partner Plan, IN A SAFER AND MUCH BETTER WAY. Allow me to share something I read recently: "DEALING WITH CHANGE "Be diligent ... so that everyone may see your progress." 1 Timothy 4:15 (NIV) "If you think that accepting change is difficult - try introducing it to others! You'll have for enemies all those who've done well under the old system, and only lukewarm defenders among those who aren't sure how well they'll do under the new one. Resistance to progress is universal; it seizes every generation by the throat and attempts to stop all forward movement. In 1553 Admiral Richard Hawkins recorded that during his career on the high seas, 10,000 men under his command had died of scurvy. He also noted that oranges and lemons (Vitamin C) completely cured it. But his observations went unheeded for 200 years, during which time thousands more sailors died needlessly. In 1753 James Lind, a British Naval surgeon, published a book saying that scurvy could be eliminated with lemon juice. He even cited case histories to prove it. But instead of being honoured, he was ridiculed by the Lords of the Admiralty and by the leading physicians of that day. In fact, his advice was ignored for another 40 years. Not until the year after his death in 1794 was a Naval Squadron supplied with orange juice before a voyage. On that voyage, which lasted 23 weeks, there wasn't one case of scurvy. Even so, another 10 years passed and thousands more died, before regulations were enacted requiring sailors to drink a daily ration of lemon juice. With that enactment, scurvy finally disappeared from the British Navy. What a lesson! Don't let complacency, prejudice, or the fear of change, rob you of the joy of becoming all God intends you to be." Source: "The Word For Today - Caribbean Editioin" (Thoughts for December 7, 2002) *** WE ALL WANT CHANGE, YET WE STRONGLY RESIST IT! Isn't that a strange? THINK ABOUT THIS ... Vitamin C - found in orange juice and lemon juice - very simple - could have saved thousands of lives in Britain. Yet it took 251 years for something so simple to be finally accepted, preventing something as serious as the death of sailors. But the point I want to emphasize is not the resistance - but WHO were among them that resisted and ridiculed the idea:- Learned men - Lords of the Admiralty and leading Physicians of that day. Not uneducated people. Not fools. These learned men; these Lords; these physicians rejected and ridiculed the idea EVEN amid the blatant proof that positive results were achieved with Vitamin C. I wish to draw a comparison. I too was criticized, insulted and ridiculed for suggesting that Revolving Partner Plan could make a positive difference in the lives of the poor and the social conditions of the country;
Then it was finally destroyed. Many persons say that it "crashed" or "collapsed". That depends on one's definition of "crash" and "collapse". Like the World Trade Centre Towers, Revolving Partner Plan stood tall and strong until it was attacked and destroyed. After that, something very significant happened. CVM Television, on it's magazine programme "Probe" aired a report on the partner plan scenario. A very important statement was made on that programme, revealing that there was a mark increase in economic activity with Courts Jamaica Limited, for example, recording a 60% increase in cash sales and that the authorities reported a significant decline in criminal activity. On the down side, there was the report of a negative impact on financial institutions and the social problems that came with the "collapse" of the "partner plans". I hoped - in vain - that some commentator would say, "Wait a minute! We do want to see an improvement in commerce and we do want to see a reduction in crime. We do want to see our people enjoying a better quality of life. Maybe, just maybe, we can take a look at this "partner plan" thing to see how we could improve it to preserve these good results and avoid the negative ones." Again I say I hoped in vain. Apparently, we lack that kind of imagination; creativity and the will to seriously make a difference. We are now being told that we are on the brink of an economic crisis and that we had better brace ourselves for dark days ahead. I have listened as commentators and analysts "struggle" to put forward suggestions to avert this crisis. I am about to make suggestions that can
CHANGE Change is important, ESPECIALLY when the old is not effective. It is futile and insane to do things the same way, expecting different results! I have been arrested, threatened, sued, insulted, ridiculed, scorned and made to feel like an outcast and a criminal. I have suffered for this. But that has not taken away my desire to make a difference in this country. Because I know that the change I want to see IS POSSIBLE! It's not only possible. It's necessary! It's worth it! The same is true of your dreams. Please don't allow anything to take away your desire to make a difference in your life. PLEASE don't. I invite you to become what I have become - MORE CAREFUL. I am about to share with you something that can bring the results I desired and even better, without the problems I experienced - something that can bring you the results you desired and even more, without the fear of the kind of problems that came with "partner plans". I can testify to that. We have seen it happen before. The point therefore is that IT'S POSSIBLE! IT'S POSSIBLE! IT'S POSSIBLE! If it happened once, it can happen again! WITHOUT THE PROBLEMS! A Solution The average, ordinary person can achieve tremendous financial rewards through network marketing. Unfortunately, many people confuse legitimate networking marketing entities with what they call illegal pyramid schemes. Pyramid schemes are illegal in the United States. In the very same United States, there are a large number of network marketing companies. Network marketing, is a powerful, legitimate way for the average person to rise above poverty and live his dreams. It requires work, but work is GOOD, and is the recommended and best way of putting food on your table. Network marketing has turned many ordinary persons into millionaires. Do your investigations. Many Jamaicans are now coming to understand this. Because you are only one person with no more than 24 hours in a day, you are limited in how much you can achieve all by yourself in a given time. Network Marketing gives you the effect of multiplying your efforts by leveraging the efforts of others. Not people you are using. But like-minded people working along with you, each toward the same goal. It's simple and smart. The boy who shouted "Wolf!" was a liar. His lack of integrity cost the townspeople their sheep. However, even though he was a liar, the people could have saved their sheep if they had listened to him when he finally told them the truth. I'm not telling you that I am a liar, but some people think that I am. I don't know if you are one of those persons. If you are, do not allow your "sheep" of ambitions to be eaten up because you refused to allow me to share the TRUTH of a REAL opportunity to make a difference.
